What size/type of tires do you use?

What size/type of tires do you use?

I did some searching but I couldn't find a thread on this topic in the SSFG forum, and if I missed it, it would be nice for a reboot...

So, what size and type of tires do you use on your bike(s)? I'll get the ball rolling. I use dual 700x28c Bontrager H3's on my Earl. What about you?

700x23c Vittoria Zaffiros on my b43's. I feel every single bump and crack in the road.

Soma Everwear 700x26, front and rear. 23's are too small for street riding (in my opinion) and 28's are a little overkill for my local roads. I'd like to have a kevlar tire in the front, but I really like the cute pink stripe on my Everwears.

28C Randonneurs!

Thinking of putting a bigger one on the back though. And sometimes I run something thinner in the front like a gator or armadillo.

28 serfas seca up front, grippy and flat resistant... 32 vittoria randonneur in back, skids forever and cushy for brick roads.

Bontrager H3 700x28 in the rear, CST Compressor 700x25 front. It gets the job done.

white Vittoria Randonneur 700 x 28

was thinking of ordering a black/reflective one for the rear though. curious at how that's going to look, if it's all shiny and **** in the day that just seems annoying

You can only really see it in direct light, ie flashlight or headlight. I've never noticed teh shinies in sunlight.

Fyxation Session 700 -- 23s -- dual compound, Kevlar, green sidewalls.

Hoping they'll keep this Clyde flat free.
