Left-handed people are a little different than righties...
Fixed and SS riders are a little different than gearies...

Escher, Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, Richard Pryor, Robert Redford, John McEnroe, Thomas Voeckler (French Cyclist)
and hundreds more leftys listed here: https://www.indiana.edu/~primate/left.html

So, as left-handed FG/SS riders, does that make us more superior to the right-handed FG/SS riders and even more superior to both the left- and right-handed multi-geared riders? What if you're ambidextrious? Does having pie and stash pockets give a right-hander more power over a left-hander or is adding pie and stash pockets like powering up in a video game...not quite enough but enough to not be dead. Just curious cuz, like I said earlier, I'm a left-handed FG/SS rider and I've also been caught running with scissors! Left-handed scissors to be exact!

i am left-handed, and ride fixed. and i have two questions for the other lefties:
1) if you have one brake on your bicycle, on which side of the handlebars is it mounted?
mine is on the left.
2) if you play guitar, how do you hold it?
i play a right-handed guitar, held upside down (like dick dale, or albert king). i used to restring the guitar to make it left-handed, but it would make me sad to go into a place like mike's music in cinci and not be able to play any of the guitars, so i switched.

BTW, I have my brake on the right.

1) Whenever i carry stuff while riding, it's in my left hand, so I put my brake lever on the right.
2. I play guitar right handed.

i'm kinda mixed up but i still consider myself a lefty
i write left handed
i ride fixed with a front brake, my brake lever is on the right
i play guitar (well, bass) right handed (forced myself early on now it's natural)
i swing a bat and pitch right handed
i'm goofy footed for snowboarding

Leftie and ride fixed.
Play guitar (bass) right handed
Brake on the right (so I can use my left for pie-holding)

To quote the immortal Chris Washburn "Coach told me to be more amphibious."
I can't play guitar, or any other musical instrument. Side effect of being partially deaf.

i ride fixed, no brakes, and i am lefty
when i did ride brakes, they were on the left, since they were on the front tire, and thats how they normally come, i kinda got used to the front being on that side. i went brakeless when my SS needed new brakes so that the girlfriend could ride it, so i took them off, and wouldnt put them back on even if i had the chance. i do need to invest in some new tires soon though... damn skidding, haha
