hairnet 11-30-11 07:33 PM

LesterOfPuppets 11-30-11 07:40 PM

Do you think you can deal with 300 days of wet pavement per year?

hairnet 11-30-11 07:41 PM

Dont know until I try.

homebrewk 11-30-11 07:48 PM

I think it would be fun. Just spend some time there before you make your decision.

hairnet 11-30-11 07:50 PM

homebrewk 11-30-11 07:53 PM

Cool!

yummygooey 11-30-11 07:55 PM

So excited for Seattle!!

jdgesus 11-30-11 11:13 PM

it actually doesn't rain much in seattle.. much much more in portland for sure.. but, seattle gets the most cloudy days per year than anywhere "large" city in the US. HOPE YOU LIKE THE DARK

yummygooey 12-01-11 12:32 AM

Was nice when I was there. Rain in the morning, sunshine in the afternoon.

EpicSchwinn 12-01-11 01:34 AM

The PNW has some of the most beautiful summers you'll ever see. Sure they only last a month but it's still really nice.

LesterOfPuppets 12-01-11 02:04 AM

Interesting clear days per year stats here: http://www.wrcc.dri.edu/htmlfiles/westcomp.clr.html

Seattle : 71
Portland : 68
Spokane : 88 - dang I thought it was sunnier than that out there.
Los Angeles : 186

Seattle vs. Portland rainfall is about a tie. 35.5" SEA, 35.7" PDX.

Seattle is much less likely to experience oppressive heat in the summer than Portland.

Perfect. I like the gray and do most of my recreational riding at night

I grew up in Seattle and miss it.

Take them off 'coz weight weenie.

Just took the stickers off. For the record I shed 2.7 grams of rotational weight. That's like... a pound and a half of static weight, right?

had the steer tube cut on a new fork this morning. didnt consider the longer head tube on new frame and i have enough room for a stem. <sigh> hmm, should I attempt to ride this new ldr fork with a slammed stem? sell?

nicwuj 12-07-11 03:35 PM

should i get these http://images.nitrosell.com/product_...0TI0026006.jpg
on this (it has bullhorns and a black saddle now)https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net..._1283811_n.jpg

Yes.

TheRealFaux 12-08-11 08:26 PM

Should I get silver omniums for my khaki green rush? I feel this stigma that people say the omnium crankset doesn't look too nice on thin tubed frames.

+1.
I saw a black leader compliment them with a seafoam fork (sure it's not celeste but close) and the subtle matching looks great.
