You always do that, haha. I usually don't care, but you did it twice in a row.

Had to say something.

I don't know. The only beer I've tasted is some belgian stuff that I cant remember the name of right now and Heineken, it seems to be the only stuff people buy for parties.

Guess i'll go silver. He's also selling a black zen for 30 yay or nay?

Did your friend happen to have a Craigslist listing one or two weeks back? I wanted to buy this guy's black zen chainring, but I didn't want to drive all the way to Brooklyn for it. I'm second in line for a chainring if Nagrom doesn't want it. :)

Adrian_ 12-02-12 11:24 PM

Yeah I think it's still up. Perfect timing too, i'm probably gonna buy most of the parts for the build from him.

JonSC 12-02-12 11:54 PM

Dude, I e-mailed you because I can't PM yet.

Should I trust chinese carbon products? I wanted to get a carbon fork I like the look and paintjob. Reviews say it is good quality. It comes with a warranty and everything, but is should I take the risk of it breaking etc.

Nagrom_ 12-03-12 01:03 AM

What company?

1koolkat 12-03-12 01:04 AM

Its a generic company on ebay, it resembles a 3t fork.

Go for it, just becasue china carbon is cheap doesn't mean that it's dangerous. Not to mention the vast majority of carbon forks name brand or not are made over in the orient already.

1koolkat 12-03-12 01:07 AM

Thanks I will most likely get some

What seller? link?

1koolkat 12-03-12 01:09 AM

Also I just got some nitto b127s should I go with track grips or a partially wrapped bar? Im comfortable on really any grip, like I like bare metal but that doesnt look right, so its simply for aesthetics.

1koolkat 12-03-12 01:10 AM

http://myworld.ebay.com/winhere?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

They recently sold out of the listing, but they said a new listing of them should be up soon.

Nagrom_ 12-03-12 01:11 AM

75 feedback? try a different seller.

1koolkat 12-03-12 01:15 AM

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fork-...item416dd77504

something like this?
I know its not many more reviews, but it is from seattle instead of china.

Muffin Man 12-03-12 01:18 AM

I would rather buy from someone who has more feedback.

1koolkat 12-03-12 01:24 AM

Makes sense. Theres a guy selling an easton fork locally for the same price so I may pursue that

I'm on a chinese carbon frame.

So far, I'm still alive. And the frame is awesome.

Mumonkan 12-03-12 07:14 AM

What should i make next, SSCX or roadie?

i feel like id get more use out of a road bike especially since itd be a winter project and probably be done by spring, but cx is awesome.

cx would be built around an on one pompino

roadie im kinda clueless about but im pretty sure i dont want crabon, less than $1k for a complete

Suggestions on the road front would be great since i dont know my ass from my elbow

go to a shops and look around.

Mumonkan 12-03-12 03:50 PM

i definitely plan to

roadbike useability > cs radness?

yummygooey 12-03-12 03:54 PM

i built my on one because i wanted a fenderped fat tire commuter for my future life in seattle. previously, i was commuting on my TET and GT which weren't ideal from a fenderpability and cost perspective.

but if you have something to fill the commuter role already, i'd def go for a road bike.
