Kilo TT Sizing - Help a Noob Out
 

I am planning on buying a Mercier Kilo TT as my first single speed & fixed gear bike. Since I am a noob, I don't really understand the sizing/ Kilo TT Geometry. I understand that I need a smaller frame since I am exactly 5 foot. But other than that, I am confused by stand over height, and whether or not I should get a 44cm, 47cm or 50cm bike. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Male or female ? What is your inseam ? Chances are your only choice is the 44 cm.

Do you have average proportions? Short legs or Long legs? If they are short, then a 44cm will not work for you at all unless you don't mind the bar touching your crouch when you stand over it. My wife is the same height but with short legs. But if you are 5 foot but leggy, then you may be ok. But as TT said, the 44cm is your only option. FYI my wife rides a 36cm seat tube Cannondale road bike with 650s.

Compare the numbers between the Kilo and your own measurements and read this article. Top tube and seat tube lengths are the most important numbers to compare.
