Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Essential Biking Tunes (Tunes you must bike to at least once in your life)

Post Albums/Songs that are compliment the road absolutely perfectly

This music keeps me extremely calm while riding until my legs feel like they're being disintegrated by space debris

And this song is the epitome of faster

I highly recommend Both of those albums.
Cosmic Messenger by Jean Luc Ponty and Zwei by Turing Machine

Honorable Mention - Neu! 1
for the days when you just want to enjoy the weather and ride with your beloved

got me to 27mph on my fixie, which is a ridiculous accomplishment considering my body. Right when the go go go go go go go part came.

Otherwise, I usually listen to ambient junk. Recently, Arms and Sleepers.

I dont' listen to music when I ride. If I'm in a gym - okay - but there's a reason I chose to go on a bike ride.

I see where you're coming from! Music/non music are two completely different experiences

I don't listen to music when I ride on the road. If I did I would listen too jazz or metal.

No music on rides for me. I need to be able to hear the traffic, and enjoy the quiet when there is no traffic. I do listen to a wide variety of music while wrenching (except when building wheels).
