so... i'm gonna try to slap something together at the church, if i cant do it in time, i'll be at the ride on sunday for sure. mabey i'll be there tonight, mabey not.

I'll be there with a friend if I get out of work early enough (there is a good chance tonight). So it is about 5 people now?

ATTENTION!!!! i got a flyer from a coworker about thursday rides, meet at 10PM at the LOVE sign in love park. starts off with a 5mile 'leisurely' ride, followed by a +15 mph serious ride. i think im gonna attend that, then see about stopping by at rittenhouse depending on the time line. anyone else in? maybe everyone who planned on doing the ride we set up for 11PM could show up for this one. we can unify our rides if we try!

for real, for real?! cool. i'm down for the 10PM ride. however, for those of us who can't do 10PM, the meeting place for our ride should still be rittenhouse park at 11PM. after tonight, if people are into the experience, we can plan for a different night. get as many riding ops going as we can. it's nearly impossible to schedule a perfect time, that'll work with everybody's schedule.

do you have more info about the love ride distance? i'm going to peel off before 11 to meet the people at rittenhouse, in case they don't check this list in time, nah mean?!

I'm in for the 11 ride barring any unseen catastrophes. I cant do the 10 tonight, but I may in the future.

i gotta go to the church tonight and make my bike, so i'll be out of there at like 9:30. which leaves little to no time to make the love park ride.

so i'm still going to rittenhouse at 10:45. i hope i'm not the only one.

yeah me too. seems 2nite's gonna be good nite though. the weather is amazing.

im gonna do the 10PM ride, and try and get the ride to swing by rittenhouse by 11. hopefully that will work, and it will be hella cool

If you need to borrow a bike for the sunday ride I have a very tall Raleigh Record you could borrow. I am 6 feet tall and its a LITTLE too tall for me, but ride-able. Its not a fixie.... hmmm... I could actually slap together my Huffy Superstar Fixie if you dont mind riding brakeless on a heavy as hell bike with chop bars and 26 inch tires.

I will try and slap that together this weekend, I took the wheels off to use some parts, so its just a matter of putting them back on. Alrighty, hopefully I will make it for sunday.

thrashin thursday ride was good. (the love park ride) we lost a few people after the casual ride to mcglincheys.... the fast loop was great though. very nice loop, pretty much circled all of center city, was a nice distance. i got home at 10 of 12. i recommend that everybody start doing this ride on thursdays! [skipping next thurs of course(turkey day)]

agreed, the love park ride was lovely! everyone should definitely do this ride. legalize-it, were we introduced?

anyway, i thought both rides were great. we had a nice ride from rittenhouse at 11. good group of about 10 people. friendly vibe. it was great meeting people and connecting faces with screen names. only one shouted insult ("go get yourself a chariot!"--whatever that means) from a motorist and one mechanical situation (fruit's roomie's bike) which was quickly fixed.

highlights: 5th street tunnel and fairmount park river path. it was a beautiful night for a ride.

maybe we can have this kind of ride again but on a different night of the week or even on the weekend, and have it earlier because marked001 has to be home at a decent hour. har har.

i wish i could have gone....but i jsut cant manage to get out thursday or any other weekday night....if we could mak eit a friday or saturday thing....it would be pretty awesome....

is the sunday ride still on....i hoping to catch that one....where is it gonna meet?
