I've built a few of them for customers at the shop. "Meh" best describes them.

If I were you I would look at the bikes in BikesDirect's "Track" or "Singlespeed" section.

I recommend the Kilo TT, Kilo TT Pro, and the Dawes SST AL. All cheaper than the Fuji shown above.
