grips on bullhorns?

OK, I realize this will be totally lame looking, but I just picked up my first single spped (used Bianchi San Jose) and am just not comfortable with the drops...I thought about switching to a flt or riser bar...but them Ive only got one position. But I really like the look and comfort of the Ergon grips.

What about putting an Ergon (or something similar) on the flats of a bullhorn? I got the idea from seeing the new Cinelli Mash Horns
Anyone done this, or something similar?

Even though they're sketchy at first, I'd highly recommend just getting used to drops. In my experience they've been more comfortable than bullhorns. Adding those Ergon grips to something might look janky :/

I didnt like drops at all. I feel bullhorns are more practical for city riding and are great for climbing. But whatever suits you best is really all that matters

I have a set of nitto rb018 with track grips. This perfect for me for city riding.

Putting an Ergon on the flat of a bullhorn will look ugly, in my opinion.

I say tape them up.

If you put the ergo grips on the "horn" part they wont actually be usefull, and in fact be way more painful. They are a very solid rubber, so they wouldnt be able to slide around the bend to get them in on the flat section.

Yeah I doubt you'd even be able to get them onto the flats.

I've seen people with Ourys on the flats of bullhorns before (just gotta cut the end caps out so it's a hollow tube). That seems like it's be fairly nice, and it doesn't look too super dumb.

Won't fit. Plus it will be ugly.

If you want bullhorns for more hand positions, it would be silly to have small grips. Tape the whole bar so your hands can go anywhere. You can use gel inserts under the tape for comfort and a more ergonomic feel.
