Seatpost won't fit after powdercoating..
I know this isn't the best forum to ask, but I know a lot of you guys have experience with powdercoat; mods feel free to move this if you must. Anyways I just had my frame powdercoated and now my seatpost won't fit. I can feel a little bit of paint inside the seat tube. I'm scared to use any kind of liquid stripper/thinner. Maybe I could just a little bit on a cotton swab or something? Does anyone have suggestions for sanding it?
Oh, by the way, the frame is steel and has an integrated seat clamp. If that matters..?

Your cog is slipping.
If the powdercoater put something in the tube to prevent a lot of the powder to get inside (as they should have), a little bit of overspray shouldn't matter. Take some fine grit sandpaper, roll it up and sand it out if need be. The sandpaper will remove the unwanted powdercoat but won't damage the steel itself.

Easy...Drive a screwdriver between the clamp and bend as far as possible. Install post.
But yeah, a little sand paper with the "right motion" will take care of the issue.
Hope you marked the seatpost height.

I would just replace the seat tube with something NJS.
