Hey, checking in.. also DeBernardi related
Ok - the idea to add track ends to the Surly Long Haul Trucker is chit. It didn't work. My friends welding skills are crap and didn't pull it off. So the frame was resold and I ended up getting a DeBernardi frame. Very nice frame! I just have one question.. Is it just me or is this frame just really easy to chip up? I haven't had this frame for a week and already their are several chips and I've been as careful as can be.
Has anyone come up with a good solution for touch up paint? Crapfully yours, Lobo |
Don't know, but the one that Andrew was riding on our ride last night was really chipped...
|
yes, you should get it clear coated immediately.

They definately have paint problems as many Italian frames do. I've had mine for about 11 months and have invested in a bottle of red nail polish. Eventually I will repaint in a few years time.
So, Lobo, what happened to the Langster? |
the more chipped, the lower the stealibility factor.
i don't really endorse that thinking, but i figured i'd offer a bright side...right? |
