Earthquake!

Any of you east coasters feel the 5.9 earthquake that just happened? I didn't here in CT

UCF Eric 08-23-11 01:19 PM

I'm in FL, got nothing.

carleton 08-23-11 01:19 PM

Yeah, I'm in VA and felt a lot of it. No damage to speak of, though.

patthepunk 08-23-11 01:22 PM

Was it a violent one?

Not really. Just progressive up/down waves. I think one thing fell in my entire office.

I think things would have been different if it were a back/forth type of earthquake.

I feel like a d-bag for missing it, I live in Norfolk VA and was taking a nap, vaguely recall kind of waking up and yelling at my dog to quit jumping on the bed, woke up an hour later and found out it was an earthquake.

So are Aerospokes. That's obviously why I didn't notice it.

Pffffff I slept through the Northridge 'quake while sewers were exploding and houses burst into flames. At 4 years old my e-wang was larger than all of the east coast
