Hmm I thought before they went to that extent they would've created some kind of scientifically engineered water substitute that would be only the tenth the mass of water.

Two Fish bottle cage. It comes with velcro straps which work OK...removed those. With the small rubber block and zip ties it is very secure.

With a nice short dress.

Ditch the sissy movie transcript, replace with water.

I was thinking of replacing it with a sawed-off shotgun.

Put your bottle cages where they belong---on the bars.

my track bike has mounts for a waterbottle on the seattube. I might get that dual seatpost waterbottle holder though because it is way cool

put your waterbottles in your oversized messenger bags, thats that

The problem I need to carry water. Should a beautiful, clean track frame have two sets of bosses for bottle cages put on it? Will it just kill the visual aesthetic of a nice tidy frame? They are either there or not!
I just love the feel and look of a real clean track frame on the road.

Track frame plus long rides in the countryside do not mix.

What you need is another bike.

Some totally anectdotal evidence for ya:
I've built around 35 track and/or fixed specific frames and probably put at least one set of bottle bosses on half of them. I haven't heard any of the owners who had the bosses say they wish they weren't there, but at least five who asked for no bosses have told me they wish they had them.....go figure.
