Freewheel on the fixed side of flip-flop hub?

Freewheel on the fixed side of flip-flop hub?

My bike has a flip-flop hub and I have no use for the fixed cog. I was thinking it would be cool to have 2 different gear ratios available and switch out my fixed cog for a freewheel. I know it will thread right on, but my question is if I am going to do any damage to the threads on the hub. My concern is that there aren't enough threads there to really hold on to that freewheel.

I plan to mostly ride my 16 tooth freewheel which will be on the freewheel side of the hub. I figure that is safer given I will use that side 95-98% of the time. I guess I am worried that when I install the 18 tooth freewheel, it is going to stress those hub threads because of it being able to exert more torque on the hub threads due to the lower gear ration.

Am I just being a nervous nelly?
