Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

help finding correct BB

im buying this frame soon: https://www.ebay.com/itm/300546431404...ht_1528wt_1037

its an un-branded visp.
anyways i waaas going to buy the IRO drive train kit seeing as it has everything i need for a low price, but the BB is 110mm and the frame says: B.B Shell 68MM English Thread, Suggest to use 103-107MM axle B.B parts.

and since im new to building bikes im kinda lost. what size should i get since it gives me a range? would the 110 fit? any recommendations as to exactly which BB to get? preferably something not too expensive. thanks! by the way this isnt my first fixed gear, ive been riding almost two years.

I think IRO is closed anyway so you would have to wait to purchase the kit. The spindle length needs to match the crankset, rather than the frame. It is is the threading and width (68 English) that need to match to match between the bottom bracket and frame. So the if you use both the IRO bottom bracket and IRO Crankset it should give you the appropriate fit (42 mm chainline). But you should e-mail IRO if you have questions. They do answer but it may take a few days, at least when they are open.
