Hey, it still counts. ;)

Scrodzilla 10-11-11 08:12 PM

Maybe not. This is the Cinelli thread, not the MASH thread.

Are those bar plugs even made by Cinelli?

homebrewk 10-11-11 08:14 PM

Probably not.

adriano 10-11-11 08:37 PM

oops!

whoever makes them, theyre noticeably stronger than the type that smushes out a blue rubbery piece a la nitto, veloorange, and others.

Scrodzilla 10-13-11 06:49 AM

adriano 10-13-11 09:13 AM

cinelli doesnt actually make anything any more of course, but cinelli made the plugs as much as they make the mash frames.

hey-now!

adriano 10-13-11 09:57 AM

actually, they might actually make the xcr frames.

adriano 10-13-11 10:01 AM

its just the xcr frames. even the supercorsa and high end crabun is as italian as general taos, which is fine.

homebrewk 10-13-11 10:14 AM

I want to see one of those new SSCX frames in person.

redpear 10-13-11 10:27 AM

It's a pretty sweet frame. Just prototypes though for now.

Meanwhile, I know adriano is being adriano, but I'm pretty sure the MASH is made by Cinelli in Italy. Can't say much for anything else they make.

adriano 10-13-11 10:58 AM

really, they are not, which is fine.

adriano 10-13-11 11:08 AM

there were previously "made in taiwan," which is almost certainly fine, and now cost a bit less and are "made in [mainland] china," which can be suspect but is likely fine. go dodici if prefer your brilliant and well thought out, lol, geometry welded by paesanos.

redpear 10-13-11 11:56 AM

Wow, you are actually right. That's my bad, I was misinformed.

While we're on the topic of the XCR..
http://www.rapha.cc/images/gallery/2368-01.jpg
I was afraid to mention it for fear of hate since it's technically a 'collabo' but damn, the rapha xcr is pretty.

adriano 10-13-11 12:02 PM

thats sweet. i dont know if id want xcr painted or not.
