lol I love that my minor derail with a mash kit has turned into a full fledged mashed potatoes derail

hamfoh 09-29-11 04:15 PM

didn't have time for a proper "photoshoot" on account of the rain that was about to come down and the insane winds pushing these barriers over, wasn't even going to try and balance the bike on something. need to make some saddle/seatpost adjustments still.

Scrodzilla 09-29-11 04:16 PM

Ahhhh...you got the good colorway (yeah, I said it). Tape them bars, son!

hamfoh 09-29-11 04:19 PM

I will, gonna try that super thin fizik stuff. I was too excited to try and beat the rain!

Scrodzilla 09-29-11 04:32 PM

I hope you like wearing gloves.

yummygooey 09-29-11 04:50 PM

I can dig it.

hamfoh 09-29-11 05:05 PM

those compact drops are the shiiiiit though. so many places along the top for your hands too

redpear 09-29-11 05:22 PM

Very nice build, hamfoh! Hopefully you got the right size this time? Not another Leader situation?

adriano 09-29-11 05:24 PM

would be very hard to repeat that, the TTs on the 725 are just that much crazier than anything else I've ever been on. I could manage a size too big or a size too small on just about any other frame

Seriously. I really like my RHM02s.

yummygooey 09-29-11 06:21 PM

Have you tried FSA Wing Pro Compacts?

Scrodzilla 09-29-11 06:30 PM

Angie has some on her 721. They're very similar - maybe a little flatter on the top bends - and the drops flare outward just a wee bit. Super nice.

Yea, I have WPC's. I was just wondering how the RHM02's compare because I was very close to buying a pair instead of WPC's.

it's very weird not having a bottom cup/race thing for the headset on this frame. I noticed the vigorelli has a massive sized one but there's that little gap you can see behind with this one. I thought mine was MIA or the guy who installed it lost it until I came home and looked online and noticed that it appears to be the norm. Can't remember that ever being like that on any other bike I've owned.

on a positive note: just riding the bike the little 2 miles I got was amazing. maybe it was the weight difference from riding my soma all week or the sugino 75 vs omnium, but something about it made me feel like I was floating. Can't wait to do 25 miles on it tomorrow

homebrewk 09-29-11 07:38 PM

Congrats dude. You're gonna have a blast with it!

Leukybear 09-29-11 07:52 PM

yummygooey 09-29-11 08:05 PM

From the interwebz:

Looks pretty good, IMO. Good thing I'm back at school and jobless, or I'd probably have one coming.

Leukybear 09-29-11 08:09 PM

I want to see one of those next to a kagaro...

If I told you I have that same frame he rode in macaframa on my living room table?

You did tell me that before like a year ago. I was super jealous then, and I'm super jealous now, and if you ever sell it I'd probably get you a good price providing you tell me a couple months before hand so I can save up and starve down. hahaha
