lol I love that my minor derail with a mash kit has turned into a full fledged mashed potatoes derail
didn't have time for a proper "photoshoot" on account of the rain that was about to come down and the insane winds pushing these barriers over, wasn't even going to try and balance the bike on something. need to make some saddle/seatpost adjustments still.

Ahhhh...you got the good colorway (yeah, I said it). Tape them bars, son!
I will, gonna try that super thin fizik stuff. I was too excited to try and beat the rain!
I hope you like wearing gloves.
I can dig it.
those compact drops are the shiiiiit though. so many places along the top for your hands too
Very nice build, hamfoh! Hopefully you got the right size this time? Not another Leader situation?

Have you tried FSA Wing Pro Compacts?
Angie has some on her 721. They're very similar - maybe a little flatter on the top bends - and the drops flare outward just a wee bit. Super nice.

it's very weird not having a bottom cup/race thing for the headset on this frame. I noticed the vigorelli has a massive sized one but there's that little gap you can see behind with this one. I thought mine was MIA or the guy who installed it lost it until I came home and looked online and noticed that it appears to be the norm. Can't remember that ever being like that on any other bike I've owned.
on a positive note: just riding the bike the little 2 miles I got was amazing. maybe it was the weight difference from riding my soma all week or the sugino 75 vs omnium, but something about it made me feel like I was floating. Can't wait to do 25 miles on it tomorrow |
Congrats dude. You're gonna have a blast with it!
Lookin good hamfoh! Now polish the build!!!!!

From the interwebz:
http://s3.amazonaws.com/data.tumblr....PAch9TPkG4s%3D Looks pretty good, IMO. Good thing I'm back at school and jobless, or I'd probably have one coming. |
I want to see one of those next to a kagaro...

If it weren't for Rainier Schaefer I probably wouldn't have a Cinelli track bike, he's the face of Cinelli IMO. He, Lance Armstrong, Andy Schleck and my few cycling mates are my idols.
