i cant imagine contaminating it with anything but It is just that with lemonade it has such an interesting and unexpected flavor, the same with Pastis or Ouzo. |
i might try lemonade w/ arak, but the only absinthe i have is from a local friend (who makes it from an 1890's Swiss recipe) that i could not adulterate.
tonight is Chivas on the rocks. http://calme.co.uk/media/catalog/pro...old_1_copy.png |

tonight is Chivas on the rocks. Your absinthe does sound too good to mix. Now I want something with anise in it, so I am going to have a bit of Tsipuro.http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=314599 cheers |

I'm giving Killians stout a shot tonight. For a whopping $7.50 before deposit, I hope it was worth it. Wish me luck?

I got mad drunk last night and probably will tonight. usually I would have fun but consider it a waste of a weekend but I got a lot accomplished this weekend riding and crossed a lot of crap off my to do list/cleaned etc

Oh, and a had mostly Ballast Point Sculpin IPAs. Ive decided its my favorite IPA. its floral, citrusy and spicy in the middle relative to other IPAs... very subtle. Its properly crisp on the front and bitter/hoppy in the aftertaste as an IPA should be ofc.

New Belgium Ranger IPA, the beer that makes me feel guilty about not riding more.

I've had it and thought although it is a bit over-hopped and lacks balance, it was quite drinkable. |
After a 15 hour day at the office a couple of these last night.

Do you not like IPA's in general or just that one?
I've had it and thought although it is a bit over-hopped and lacks balance, it was quite drinkable. As for me, Mendocino Brewing Co. Eye of the Hawk. |

I was assuming he meant that he was drinking swill himself, since that's what we all expect.
As for me, Mendocino Brewing Co. Eye of the Hawk. "Swill" must be the "cheap malt liquor" he refers to on occasion. I've sampled several of the gas station offerings and found them to be acceptable. They are economical, readily available and certainly get the job done. |

Had some Sapporo and Asahi for lunch yesterday to celebrate M's Day early. Sapporo can be quite malty in the aftertaste, very nice.
Followed that up with Hitachino Red Rice ale at home with the bro and some Pyramid Apricot. Hitachino is good stuff, but on the pricey side. |
