I have another few questions.
I looked through some Kagero builds on PR and see that almost(if not all) of them use straight seatposts with no setback. Is there something with the geometry that causes setback to not be necessary with the "pursuit" style geometry?
How "limited" are what's left of the Kagero stock? Obviously, I know you can't know how everyone's stock is, but do you anticipate they'll be all gone in the next month or two?
Do you have a layaway/payment plan?

crankset is on a too long of a spindled BB. What happens?
i.e.: 107mm crank on a 110mm BB.

Your chainline will be off by a few mm - possible causing a little noise and premature wear.

Seriously. Think about it. You would need to re-space your hub to compensate, then dish the wheel to center it in the frame. It's much less trouble (and less janky) to just use the correct BB.

follow up to the earlier question:
so I put brakes on the 722 and the pads are as low as they can go and just baaaarely get to the braking surface. once the pad starts to wear down I'm worried about tire rub and will have to keep an eye on it.
Is this something from having a frame in 58cm or a 722 thing in general? the brakes are r710s, but I'm wondering if long reach may be necessary? Only the rear was like this, the front was fine.

Try sliding the wheel forward. If it works then you'll need to then shorten the chain

I've never put a rear brake on a 722 so I have no idea. But yeah, sliding the wheel forward should "fix" it.

you could grind down the adjustment area of the break arm. Looks like there is plenty of real estate to trim it a shade.

We've got about 3" here on the coast, which will most likely be gone by tomorrow. I do enjoy riding in the snow and I keep saying I want to build a SS 29er for winter use but I never seem to get around to doing it...
