This is an image of the first prototype hub, even before my lock nuts and track nuts were finished. I think six pairs of prototypes were finished. I can remember pairs going to Ric Hjartberg of Wheel fanatyk and Steve Hed.

Hah it's not everyday a thread is revived by the artisan themselves.

An old customer of mine from back in MA had a set of Curtis Odom hubs like the ones shown in the first post laced to wooden tubular rims. They were absolutely stunning.
