21" Schwinn Varsity FG Project
I need help with a fixie project. I need a way to remove a FF (front freewheel) system and can you guys help me?

If you're thinking of converting the crank to a non-freewheeling system, you can't. However, you can remove the cranks the same way as normal ashtabula 1-piece cranks by unscrewing the locknut on the left side. You can buy a bottom bracket adapter for use with a 3-piece crank.

Been spending time on some nerd and adult forums, but thanks for missing me. :)

Would this be an idea on what I need to buy?

I wouldn't stick $24.95 + crankset + wheelset into a Varsity... Your money is better spend elsewhere. But it can certainly be done.

There's no reason you can't use a plain one piece crank. You can get a wide range of chaingrings thanks to their use in BMX, but AFAIK you can't get clipless pedals that will fit. (1/2" instead of the usual 9/16")

The nut and cone holding your OPC is reverse threaded: You'll want to turn them to the right to loosen them.

I'll just look all over craigslist because I have $250 to spend.

Also, could I fit in a 3 piece alloy BMX crankset?
