Chrome Threadless Stems
 

I am looking for a good, affordable chrome, threadless stem. I know thomson makes one, but its a lil outside my price range. I am thinking about getting a velo orange stem, but was just wondering if there is anything else out there around the same price and stuff. thanks

No, theyre not. The VO stem is much nicer and has flat sides instead of being round and a nicer faceplate.

VO has the lockdown on the threadless stem market as far as I'm concerned. The tall stack is especially nice looking.

not sure. i have some VO that are the same as my O8/civia stems.

the 26.0 stem from VO is diff (square sides), but the the 25.4 and 31.8 are exactimondo the same

yeah, i really like the tall stack stem by VO. But I like the flat sides that the 26 mm stem. and it does look like only the 26mm stem has flat sides. whats with that?

and scrod, what are your opinions on the crmo lugged straight blade fork you are selling?

I just put on the VO tall stack and the Grand Cru headset I have been harrassing the mailman for. More than happy with the both of them.

if 25.4 is fine, there's a site floating around here that had Thomson's for $35

I always forget they make two different models.
