Off-balance flywheel????
I saw a guy riding with what looked like an very off-balance fly wheel (like the ones used to vibrate cell phones and the stall warning in aircraft yokes) attached to his rear hub. It looked rather like a "P", with the base of the "P" anchored to the hub. Any ideas on what on Earth it is, and why on Earth he would have it on there?
Almost forgot the most important part: It was red. |
his name is Paul and people call him "red paul" because he pukes blood sometimes at ragers
No, i have no idea. people put weird stuff in their wheels for show sometimes. it probably looks cooler than a spoke card. i doubt there's any other reason. but of course, now i'm curious: do you do aviation stuff for work or do you just like cell phone motors? |
If it were blue I would be able to tell you exactly what it is but if it's what I'm thinking of, I know they never came in red (and nobody would ever be stupid enough to try painting one because that would greatly decrease it's overall effectiveness).
Are you sure it wasn't blue? |

I'm fairly certain it was red. I was thinking that he used it to as angular momentum to the wheel, but that seemed like it would be a pretty stupid thing to try and do. Harder to start up, and you can't coast on a fixed gear. |
