Alien Bikes/Viking Cycles frames
 

I'm looking for a frame similar to Alien Bikes/Viking Cycles. Now that I have the funds to afford a frame to begin a bike build, these guys sell out! They've been sold out for months now so who knows when they'll get more frames in.

Does anyone else offer a steel lugged track frame with similar geometry as the Viking Cycles frame?

Wabi Specials, New Soma Van Nesses and lugged Kilos use the same lugsets as Alien and Viking. They're all made of different tubings though.

Also you could always email Viking and ask when they will get more frames in.

Yeah but they'll probably just tell you to start a thread about it on BikeForums.

I got a response from them In may 2011 saying they're expecting a shipment in the fall... So we should be expecting something shortly. i've sent them another email with a status update. I will update this thread when I do hear back from them.

On a side note, i checked the frames that Squirrelli listed but they're not like the viking frame. I like the fact that the viking frame is very clean with no cable mounts or water bottle mounts.

any other frames out there like the viking or the first generation aliens?

Ebay NJS keirin frames could be had for around 600,usually more,but if you look long enough you can find them if youre willing to wait.

Or just use this and pay a little more for not having to wait - Also sells NJS parts, etc.

what do you mean matching parts? all njs?

What size are you looking for? My friend happens to have a relatively new 59cm alien/ viking (earlier alien branded) frameset in black which he's willing to let go for really cheap after he realized having 3 fixed gears was not very feasible mid build.

Why don't you just e-mail or call Velomine like it says right on the page you linked to?

velomine was never able to get the frames or sell them. getting my emails returned when i email viking cycles. poop!
