I don't know if you guys have heard of this product but it's like a sticker-sort of deal for your deep-v rims. Changes the color of your deep V rims without all that paint work, and is totally reversible.

and I want to get the reflective one. From what I hear it's made to be as reflective as street signs at night so it's an added safety feature as well as a change of rim color.

However, I do know that there's some regulations regarding "distracting stuff" for motor vehicles. Do you think reflective RimSkins would be included in that? I imagine that my wheels must be bright to a motorist. Do you know if such laws apply to bicycles? Specifically Vancouver, BC.

I agree... but it does seem somewhat logical as it gets dark around 3 pm in December here. (and i'm not going to lie, I do care for the looks of my fixie)
And provided that I can't find any real alternatives to spray painting my rims + provide a reflective surface....

you have to remove your spokes/nipples to install those? what a pain in the ass.

I'd buy some reflective ones if they weren't double the price of the standard colors. Reflective white rims for $20 would be doable to me considering a can of decent spray paint is $6 anyways
