I'm asking because I have some sweet Origin8 wheels just sitting on my floor, and aesthetically the Raw Kilo looks like a perfect match.

Also, I'm 5'10" with about a 31.5" standover. This means a 53cm Kilo, right?

It's clearcoated. If I were you, I'd go with a 55. I'm 5'10" with a 33" inseam and the top tube on my old 53cm Kilo was too short.

Yup, I'd go with the 55.

Those wheels are... interesting.

They were dirt cheap($60 still plastic wrapped for an Origin8 wheelset? Not bad), and I've been missing my old Schwinn fixed gear.

Looks like I'll be getting a Kilo TT raw soon!

Eh, it seemed worth it to get back into fixed. They'll force me to ride brakeless too, which I was never good at on my old bike(after a re-aclimation period with the stock wheels).

It's going to be a commuter, that way I can make my Schwinn into more of a light-touring bike with gear I might not want to leave locked to a rack.

Evil, that bike actually looks pretty cool.

I'd say the only way to keep those rasta wheels looking okay on a bike is to not overdo all the rasta matchy matchy stuff. Lose the yellow chain and I think that Leader could look really nice.

To be fair, I never tried that hard. I always had brakes on my old bike. I'm not going to dive into it though, I'm going to practice for a long time before I start running the rastas(which lack a machined brake surface). If it doesn't work I'll just rebuild the front wheel with a drum brake.
