A new rider and need help

I found an 08 fuji track for sale for $250 but got him down to sell it for $220. its a purple frame with a white fork and a front break as well. is this a good deal?

here is the link to the bike. thank you guys! btw this is all i can afford ha, other bikes are over $300 easily.

If it fits it is a perfectly fine deal. You may end up replacing a bunch of the parts but it is still a good deal. That said please post these questions in https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...raigslist-find

Yup.

Test it, take it around the block (if the seller's willing to let you do that). If you think it feels comfortable (given that it might be your first time riding fixed, it may feel a little strange), buy it (or take it, if that's your thing).

Looks like a decent deal if it fits. Are those SRAM cranks? I can't tell if they're S100's or S300's, though.

Wow, no way in hell I could've scooped such a ride for $220 in NY. I see one hanging for $450 on CL. Reminds me when a Lo Pro was listed on west coast for $200 = (((((((
