Need removal help(please )

Hey im having trouble taking off my crank . I loosened and took off my bolts already and it still doesn't come off it has a square taper cup and cone bb. Do need anything else or is it just stubborn ?

At best nothing would happen. At worst you'll ruin your cranks. You need a crank puller to remove the crank arms, and you need a torque wrench to reinstall. Torque wrench is only optional after you've installed ~50 cranksets. |
nah mang, just ride it without the bolts. They'll fall off eventually

I had to give that advice to some guy at the co-op after he stripped his crank threads. He also had to ride back home brakeless - womp womp - but he was one of those guys that scoffs at the idea of brakes on fixed gears

I have read about that and considered bringing up the topic at the co-op member meeting. It seems like a good idea since plenty of people try to pull their cranks without asking for guidance and end up with trouble.
Any idea what size is needed for cranks? |
