Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

NAU I assume? Flagstaff is an awesome town. That Schwinn looks perfect for it, nice build. If he doesn't already mtn bike, he needs to start. There is a lot of great off road riding in Flagstaff.

"There is a lot of great off road riding in Flagstaff"

He has a mtn bike but commutes to work and class, so I wanted to give him a "beater" to save the mtn bike for the trails... I went with the cyclocross tires so he could ride the trails in town.

Good lookin'... But it looks like maybe the rear wheel is a little out of alignment, too close to the drive side stay perhaps?
