Anyone ever bought from the 'track king' on ebay?

Anyone? Good / Bad? Experiences?
I ask because he seems to have the best price on EAI track cogs, both in 1/8" and 3/32" chains, alll sizes for $28 shipped.

it looks like he's the same guy as the bike king, who has a decent amount of good feedback. they sell the same stuff, have similar names, both from las vegas.

$22 soma cogs shipped sounds like a good deal too.
$20 Dura Ace lock rings do not.

Free market, I buy good deals when I see 'em. $20 durace lockrings is not a good deal. I can get em for $8 @ my LBS.

We are always reorder the moment an item runs out. We are never more then roughly 48 hours out of stock on an item. If we do make a mistake and can not get your item we will upgrade you. Like if you were to order a soma cog and we did not have that one and could not get it back in stock right away we would move you up to a EAI cog. This is expensive for us but it keeps the customers happy. Hence we keep another happy customer.

Why do you put items up for auction that are not in stock? Isn't that against Ebay rules?
I can understand that for the online store but auctions should be for actual items, no?

BTW, welcome to the forums.

I just odered some pedals from terri and he replied within minutes thanking me and telling me that they would ship out immediately. Then I also purchased some clips to go and he sold them to me at cost. We did that transaction over the phone and the guy was really great. I would say go for it.

No problems. Neal is really trying to make this a good thing. We all need a bit of time to get our stuff together, and Neal is DEFINITELY getting there based on my comversations/transactions with him. I would recommend them for sure.

So i ordered my pedals from him on Tuesday. (Black MKS platforms for $25 and he threw in MKS clips for just $5.) They got here on Thursday. I would say that is really good service. Tuesday to Thursday from NV to TX.

I'm not sure if it is the same guy, but, I dealt with a guy named Neal who sold Soma stuff online. His shop was linked from the Soma site as a certified dealer (BikeUSA). No problems whatsoever. Good prices and was quick to ship. He used to sell stuff on ebay under the name "www.itsamall.com" but is no longer a registered user. I'm wondering if this is the same operation... Anyhow, if it is Neal, I recommend the seller with no hesitation.

Same seller. Good guy up to this point. Been back to purchase twice more.

dude - jealousy gets you nowhere. I said no to you once before and I meant no. Plus, there are other boys in Philly for the likes of you.

but yes, what a horrible error in diction for me to make. I have edited my original post in a lame attempt to save a mere fragment of whatever dignity of mine is left.
Nice catch...

Alexi 02-21-05 08:03 PM

Rev.Chuck 02-21-05 08:05 PM

Bike king, that is an interesting business model. Do you want onky a small amount of repair and instore business?

ultra-g 02-21-05 08:09 PM

I ordered a Soma cog from trackbikeking and Terrie sent me a better EAI cog and it came in 1 week.

Great service, I'd buy from her again.

Thanks Terrie.
