Depending on where you ride you have to go quite a ways to rack up big elevation numbers. Just depends.

Pretty flat over all. There aren't a lot of hills but there are some nasty short climbs.

IFPCL 06-03-16 11:30 PM

Only two-digit temperatures (95 degrees F) but with 95% humidity dear god.

Looks brutal (and fun).

Sometimes I ride with large groups of people.

A few from this season so far that I've been pleased with.

Mumonkan There are parts of the city that are fully reminiscent of "The Wire." There are full neighborhoods that are boarded up like that. It's quite sad, but this ride really shows you the city of Trenton (the good, bad and ugly).

Totally. I can ride through one of the richest towns in my area, then find myself rolling through farmland and eventually the poorest areas. It's sort of weird.

where in NJ you from?

SquidPuppet 06-07-16 09:10 AM

This park in downtown Coeur d' Alene has some great water features for the kids. If they had stuff like that when I was a kid, I would never have left the park.

North Idaho Centennial Trail where it passes through Riverstone park. It was 96f in da shade yesterday. I drank two liters on a 1.5 hour ride.

The guy (gal?) on the left was tripping out on my bike. He kept sniffing the tires and spokes.

That mallard's a dude. The one up front is his lady friend. Dang, y'all are hotter than Austin now.

Wspsux I live just outside of Philly in South Jersey. I'm originally from Bordentown (which is five minutes from Trenton).

Ah, bummer. I'm way north when I'm riding in NJ.

SquidPuppet 06-08-16 07:47 AM

102 f yesterday.

The trail turns right where it leaves the pic and then climbs to the height of that bridge in a very short distance. I made it up without stopping but had to hit the shade at the top.

I dig your bike and like that you made it to the top of the hill on it.

SCK 06-08-16 04:56 PM

Wspsux Yeah, I'm in what is more or less south Jersey. I'm far enough away from the Parkway that the "what exit?" cliche doesn't apply as easily.
