Not really a group ride, more like a rare moment when none of us were out on a delivery so I took advantage of the photo op. Left to right: Mercier Kilo TT, Cinelli Histogram, Cinelli Vigorelli (custom powdercoat) and Cinelli Vigorelli. #messlife

Whoever owns that Cinelli in the middle of the pic needs to buy a bigger bike, or get a decent fit done.

Yeah we give him sh*t all the time. He's a giant and doesnt want to ride some tacky 66cm frame so he makes due with the biggest size available. It works for him, he can ride it all day and he's fast af so...different strokes i guess. Funnily enough he's a professional bike mechanic.

After we rode in some circles, just before we rode in some more circles.

It's not just the size. The saddle and bar angles don't look like anything anyone could ride for more than a block or two. How does he not slide off into the top tube?

I have no idea but I've literally seen him ride that bike for hours on end. His BB17 Transfer is setup the exact same way too. To each his own.

He's also riding brakeless with no foot retention. Seems like a smart guy.

The Fire Marshall is going to confiscate the Kilo for blocking the fire exit.

His pedals are spd on one side and platform on the other, he has foot retention.

Ventura, right?

I lived in Goleta for 10 weeks during college and rode everywhere between Solvang and Ventura - including Casitas and Chumash. Loved it.

That reminds me of driving to the top of St Ynez in the worst weather. It was 8 mile horrible road, very cold and the worst wind ever (35 mph). It was getting dark and we passed some poor guy biking in the near dark. He was almost at the top on our way back down. Unless he had a secret abode someplace, it was going to be a long ride back to civilization. It would be a challenging ride even in good weather.
