everytime i get interested in a geared bike, & i want a complete, my choice seems to come down to bikes with either 105 or force. have you by any chance ridden with 105 parts? i would like to learn how they stack-up against each other from someone who has experience on both.
105 is Shimano's workhorse grouppo. It's on par with SRAM Apex/Rival. It's heavier, but bulletproof. If you are deciding between Force and 105 (both of which are within your budget) do not hesitate: go Force. Source: I have owned and ridden on pretty much every grouppo offered by Shimano and SRAM (never Campy though... go figure). |
ill echo those comments

^ Living in FL, this makes me really jealous! I miss real dirt, any fire roads here are just too sandy

http://wolfpackhustle.com/wp-content...4-1024x628.jpg Merry Christmas from St. Louis. My first ride with bibs and jersey. For anything longer than 4 miles, there's no going back (white jersey w/ black stripe). |
