Brooklyn Machine Works Adidas
I consider this related to the ss/fg forum, these are a shoe designed by Brooklyn Machine Works and Adidas, only problem is they're impossible to find.
Has anyone found them anywhere? In this photo they're next to the original Eddy Merckx's they're designed after. http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/s...nsortium-1.jpg |

Not impossible to find at all. Brooklyn Machine Works has a few pairs at the shop hit them up!

they look good, do they take cleats?

Would go really well with that Puma bike.

Those original Merckxs are awesome.
The Adidas I don't dig too much. I've never heard of them though, so I wouldn't know where to get them anyway. |
Yeah, well the originals were genuine rigid sole cycling shoes meant to be used with slotted cleats, clips and straps. The Adidas are just for show. You might just as well get some Sambas. Or some old Etonic Trans Am Trainers like mine.

long tongue sambas are the sex.....

They make sense for soccer but for just walking around I hate the look of them. My sambas tongue slides to the side and if it had a huge extension it'd be like a wing jutting sideways out of my shoe
But I guess if I wanted to look super stylish I'd wear Mephistos. Why u so expensive! |
but with the long tongue... they dont slide to the side!

i think i could go for the OP shoes...
i use Sambas (long or short tongue, whichever is on sale) for fencing. rest of the time it's PF Flyers Bob Cousy low: http://i.pgcdn.com/pi/73/09/71/730971505_260.jpg |

I think a ss/fg shoe thread would be great... |

Yeah they do, they're recessed into the shoe.

I saw these on Prolly's blog a while back, they were NOS and they look like another color variant (which I like more). Need to reissue these suckers too.
