I know nothing about them, other than they look sweet in person. I saw one today at lunch.

Traitor is awesome. We'll be stocking them at the shop soon and I can't wait to build up a blue Ringleader for myself.

i bought one of the first edition ringleader frames and built it up thusly:

i cant speak for their complete bikes but i really like the frameset! i hear the newer ringleaders are even more awesome with the flush welding (i forget what thats called...where it looks like there is no weld)

I have been looking (lusting) at a Cutlass for the eventual replacement on my Dawes....such a sweet frame

Fillet brazing, different from welding

oh yes that is what i was referring to. i wont pretend to know the difference between that and welding, other than fillet brazing is smooth at the joints and looks purty...

also the new ringleader frames have a nicer looking seatpost clamp than mine.
but mine is purple, which is, in my opinion, ****** status.

;p

oh and i will also say i talked to one of the guys at the shop on the phone for a half hour or so and was very friendly and knowledgeable. i think we ended up talking about allot of bike related stuff not even associated with the frameset i was buying

illdthedj 01-27-12 05:58 PM

no joke that is porn

STAY AWAY!!! At least from the ringleader. I am reluctant to post my story on a public forum but please PM me if you want the full story.

jdgesus 01-27-12 09:26 PM

post it!

I am really thinking about buying one of their new framesets but maybe I will wait til you have them in stock Scrod and after I hear that story about why not to buy one.

Santaria 01-28-12 03:05 PM

+1 on hearing this story. I am getting my bonus for the year in 2 weeks and have been torn between 3 frames: Traitor Cutlass SS, Milwaukee Bruiser or a Black Market NSF. Your story may help marrow the field down. Either way, I need a backup frame/fork since I gave my son my Bareknuckle to build up into his first non-BMX.

Local shop stocks them occasionally. The luggernaut is pretty in person.

Mr. Hobbes 01-30-12 01:33 PM

Wow. bookmarked for when I have $399 for my new build. :)

cinemattic 01-30-12 02:10 PM

yea, that seat cluster is seeexy

jpsawyer 01-30-12 02:17 PM

the seat cluster on the luggernaut and the ringleader are so hooot. but the seatclamp bolt on the ringleader looks suspiciously fragile to me
