Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Dci

Has anyone here marched DCI?
If yes, what was your schedule like? I just got into SCVC, and I'm too exhausted to ride anymore... Am I just unconditioned? Or is this normal?

SCVC, huge props man. Those guys are ridiculous. I know a few people who march for Bluecoats, and a couple that March Madison Scouts. Summer schedule seems awfully crazy, and I know my body just couldn't handle it

Makes sense to me - we're not concerned with the weight of your question; we merely offer levity.

Anything that requires endurance takes time to adapt to. You'll build up just fine, much like we did when I was in football two-a-days back in the day. Good luck and awesome accomplishment.

Dci rules dont allow sousas. Contras only. And they hurt so much
