WAY different from the movies. I read them when I was like in middle school or something though, so I forgot a lot of it. The movies are awesome though, except for Marie dying in Supremacy.

Reading Raymond Feist. My favorite fantasy author. Also want to keep up with the Star Wars New Jedi Order books when I have time. I am a GEEK.
