Charge Scissor frameset-

One of my local BS's has a framest hanging behind the counter. Looks interesting.

Paint/welds looked ok (from a distance), but the price is what scares me. How on earth can a decent frameset be so cheap? They want 2 and change.

The forks look pretty cool, and the frame looks lean- I think it might make a pretty cool beach cruiser. The proportions and the sloping toptube would look great with a low seat and some BMX bars IMO.

Anybody have any experience with this frameset?

It's a tricking FGFS frameset, but would be fine for just cruising. If it includes the fork, then that's a very good price, assuming it's in good shape. If it's new, that's a steal.

If you can ride a small, city grounds has it for $169 (sans fork).

The v1 was market'd as a trick frame until people started bending the rear triangle. Good frame for just cruising though as long as you don't go to hard. I'm sure the newer versions are stronger now though.
