Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Or you can just do what I did and get the rims powder coated before you build them.
Its cheaper to just buy them unmachined. No extra cost.

you are not removing the machined sidewall you are covering it with powder. And it is cheaper to just buy them unmachined but I couldn't get them in flat black drilled for 16 hole.

The white deep v's look hot is that paint or powder ?

I just ordered a set of White Deep V's w/o braking surface from my lbs just awaiting their arrival now. I don't believe that Velocity has them in their catalog though. Heres a link to the shop that set me up. https://www.revolutioncycleseugene.co...php?title=Home
