i used to have a hed 3. they're dumb for street use. i just had it for the lawls. then i sold it for profit. it was good in that respect.

there are at least half a dozen threads on converting Hed/specialized tri-spokes over in the track forum. It depends on the year-- you either need a Surley Fixxer type adapter or a narrow axle kit+thread-on adapter. But they're really not a great wheel for street use-- they're about the least stiff aero wheel anybody has ever made. They are nice on the track and are pretty tough.
