I LOLLLLLLLLLD

You make it through all that treacherous gnarly shat and then bite it on a smooth arc. LMAO.

Cool vid, thanks.

hahahaha and thats happened to me at least 3x on that exact turn too!

its deceptive in the video cuz the dirt there is rooty and super off camber but its hidden under the snow, at least i didnt fall into the thorns this time

I was gunna ask about camber. That can mess with the gyroscope in your head when you are used to seeing the horizon and letting your body do the same thing over and over, and then the ground says, "NOPE, fooled you. You leaned too much so I swallowed you!" BAM, down we go.

Downhill decreasing radius off cambers are the best for that. All of a sudden you need the brakes, but if you dare touch the lever you are on you head, following the skid mark your FRONT tire is leaving, listening to the lovely sound of bike parts grinding down to nubs. LOL.

once the treeline pulls away from the right the whole part until the final climb is off camber like that, but that one turn is the perfect combination of angle, speed, and roots

its great fun when the thorn bushes grow in in the summer, lol.

I don't know. You could be carrying a bottle of Roundup home for the driveway cracks and it accidentally spills on the thorn bushes. Be careful with that.

testing the loaded setup for AZ

This is an amazing trail I just found last week in a place I have been riding for two years. The length of a 29er and fully rigid make it very challenging!

I have decent bike handling skills, but my engine just is not quite what it was 30 years ago. However, if you make it out here, and wait for me at the end of each trail, I will show you a couple of great places. The trail system that this trail is in is getting a new section that is a flow area. So, great variety and maybe 50+ miles of different trails like this one.

Cool creative camera positioning. Makes the vid more theatrical feeling.

In Moto-speak that is a first gear trail. Looks like there is never a second where you can release focus. Nice and bumpy too.

i was gonna post up in that thread today actually, it was the longest ride ive done on them so far so i think theyre breaking in now

great f-in shoes. buy them. tread is sticky as hell and the most comfortable bike shoe ive had. theres actual arch support too which is amazing. i could (i have) climb (ed) trees in these things

somehow they feel as stiff as my privateer's on the pedals, but when i have to walk or hike up a hill theyre as flexy as a quality hiking boot

There are a few short bursts of speed. However, if you "release" focus you will be eating trees or bushes very quickly!

Took the SS to Boston for Marathon Monday. Rolled around the city for almost 4 hours before the runners started to arrive at the finish. Since the bombing several years back they are blocking off tons of streets that approach the course and have security check points if you want to get closer to view the race. Just a great day to roll around the city. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_2KLmN9Bcw
