Finally finished my SS Roadie!
But it pulls to the left really bad. Its a 27" wheeled road bike. Thread here:
http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=79789 Can anyone help? Going by what I learned here, I flipped and chopped the handlebars. MUCH better than the drop bars, thanks! I also got a suzue basic hub laced to a 27" wheel, brand new, free from a forum member which was great, it even came with a tube and tire. The bike only cost $6 originally but I've spent way more than that on getting it going. Hopefully I can fix the pull to the left problem and get riding! Anyway thanks for all the great info here. Soon I'll have a fixed cog and lockring for the 'flop' side of the hub and will try fixed gear. I don't have pictures unfortunately but I will next week. |
Shift your package to the right.

Bring it to a shop and have them put an alignment gauge on the frame, fork, and dropouts. You may have a slight bend that you can't see. They may check the bike out for free, the shop I worked at didn't charge to inspect a frame. They may be able to fix it if they have the right frame or fork jig.
