which frame to buy?
today i went to ny bike works, i saw a rush soma frame $450.whick would be a better buy, the soma or a debernardi?and whats the difference in chainring pitch 3/16 and a 1/8, is this the space between each teeth-chainring or is it the width of the chain, and which should i buy ?

dunno about which frame to get, it depends on a whole bunch of factors; riding style, personal aesthetics, und so weiter...
as for pitch, what you're talking about is actually width (chain pitch is the distance between rollers, see here https://www.sheldonbrown.com/gloss_p.html#pitch for more info). 1/8" chains are used on bmx bikes and lots of true track bikes, while 3/32" is used on most road bikes.
unless you're an absolute monster you should be fine with 3/32" for road riding.

chain width has nothing to do with durability. There are 3/32 chains that are easily as strong as 1/8 chains. A lot of track racers use the 3/32 these days because it is lighter. However, the 1/8 looks better in my opinion. Also, a 3/32 drive train will most likely cost less than an 1/8.
