H+Son: What's changed since the rim break?

Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

H+Son: What's changed since the rim break?

I've been researching a bit about H+sons (Formation Face/SL42 in particular), and of course came across the "exploded" rim in 2008. What have they changed since then? Any other problems since?

Sorry if this has been answered, I couldn't find it.

My understanding was that the rim that failed had nothing to do with tricks, just skidding. I'm planning on skidding on my bike, and going off the occaisional curb. Wrong rims for me, then?

I think it'd be ridiculous to not change something about the product after something like that happened, right? otherwise they just **** over their own business

They are made in sweatshops by children now. I don't always buy bicycle lips but when I do I buy aerosp0kks. Buy Amaracan.
