looks like I am the guinea pig here. But he was cool on the phone. I'll let everyone know how this pans out. Thanks BostonFixed

I actually dealt with them around thanksgiving. Bought the sugino 75 crankset, which though it turned out to be less of a good deal than I thought, arrived as promised (new) and in a timely fashion. They don't seem to communicate very succinctly through email, but like I said, I got my stuff as promised.

bought a pair of pedals, they shipped them here by boat!!! It would have cost about $0.74 more than what they paid to ship priority mail. It took a month for the pedals to get here. Plus they hold out feedback and if you leave a neg, chances are you'll get one.

Check out bike-king or bike_king or bikeking or a seller with the words "bike" and "king" in the name of his ebay store.
I think he's the same seller as the trackking, except with a more BMX-type focus. They do sell some identical Track-type items, with the same pictures and descriptions. Plus, they're both located in las vegas. He has a large amount of good feedback.

Keep in mind that I've never ordered from him. Keep us updated on your ordering experience. I'd like to knwo how it goes.

ooooh, i found him. it was thebikeking

kennethalan 12-27-04 11:18 PM

I just ordered some Black MKS pedals off him. Hopefully all will go well. All I need is some clips and straps and I will be done with my bike for a while. Sheesh I hope this goes well. I got burned twice over christmas on ebay. First time in two years of using ebay and it came at christmas. lame.

Watch your upper lip... It could snap off if you keep talking that way.

I just got this from them within minutes of my purchase. I have NEVER received that kind of response on ebay before. Pretty Positive.

Hello Keneth I have these in stock and they will go out in the morning. if theres anything else you need just let us know w ecan get it combined on the shipping.

Thanks, Terrie

PS I was on line just now when it came in this is not an automated response.

pitboss 12-29-04 06:06 PM

Okay
So I got my saddle. It was shipped on the 22nd of Dec from Las Vegas. I didn't get any tracking info initially - just random and skewed emails, but Neal got it to me right away after I called. So yeah, I was a bit worried, but all worked out.
I will do business again with them when a good deal shows up for sure!

You receive the item, install the item , go show friends then when you need to not pay retail again you look us up again.

Where did we go wrong? We run a bike shop from 10am. - between 6PM. and God only knows when. We try to rush though the emails as fast as we can. Along the way we have made some great friends on line we chat with about everything from Bikes to sharks eating surfers in Australia.

Just let me know where I went wrong and I will gladly make it right.

Whoa there. He never said he didn't get a good deal. In fact, he said he'd do business again when a good deal comes along, i.e. when he needs something and you have that item for sale.

As for leaving feedback until you get feedback, well my take is that if I paid you right away, I've held up my end of the bargain and _could_ (some say should) get feedback just for that. The seller doesn't get feedback until the item arrives in the described condition. Obviously if something happens and the buyer doesn't receive the item, they need to contact you about it straight away so that you can remedy the situation. That's why you should always use Delivery Confirmation whether they ask for it or not.

on a positive note, i ordered some things a while back, got them promptly, and had positive feedback left for me. thanks.

BlastRadius 01-21-05 10:32 AM

It sucks to have to go to mediation. In general sellers are pretty good. Buyers, on the other hand, can range from very patient and understanding to downright jerks. Too bad you can't tell which are which.

Dude, you're the first person since grade school cafeteria cooks who tops my list as #1 rude ****.

There is a thing called "CUSTOMER SERVICE". If you're in for mass movement, then do your self a favor, go into wholesale, or get some more help. Cause based only on this diatribe, you suck. You might be cool otherwise, but for this thing here.. you suck.

bottom-bracket 01-21-05 02:42 PM

OK, someone give me a bunch of money and I'LL order some stuff from them, that will settle everything.

ryan_c 01-21-05 05:25 PM

bought an EAI cog from TRACKBIKEKING, $25 shipped, arrived pretty darn fast, no problems whatsoever. It didn't come in a cool box like my DA cog though... just a baggie. I would most likely buy from them again... a crankset may be in my future.

slopvehicle 01-21-05 05:43 PM

the biggest problem on eBay is illiteracy.

if you cannot clearly communicate via text (and I'm by no means an exceptionally straightforward writer), please do not sell on the internet.

I just got burned $200 on a guitar with a broken neck. Now the seller claims I'm "harassing" her when I email about a refund, and her negative feedback to me (the first ever, on ebay since 1999) says "GOD IS ON MY SIDE."

It's hard to spot a psycho on eBay. Writing in ALLCAPS!!1 is a good clue.

pitboss 01-21-05 06:34 PM

dude - she has god on her side. what more can you do?

myxbyx 01-22-05 06:44 PM

race with the devil?

Wasn't Hammye the guy with the signature we need here?

trackbikeking

i just wanted to post this regarding trackbikeking on ebay, aka terrie. no i am not associated with the individual, nor the site, less highly plea sent email exchanges. terrie does an incredible job stocking high quality items at great prices, especially for those of us without deep pockets, who need a dealer with a solid supply in stock. in my dealings, the item comes immediately.

i ordered a sugino 75 47 tooth chainring that was out of stovk, and terrie cant find them anywhere, but because it was listed at the time, i got upgraded to a zen for nothing. he also has been looking out for a matching crank, making calls and digging around.

i just wanted to post this because they need the business over there, i have always gotten email letter back to my questions, the prices are really great, the service is incredible, and i think that exceptional business practices should be rewarded.

again, i am NOT associated in any way, just spreading the word a little.

thanks,

rafi
