Chainline / Rear Hub Dish Question
I bought a cheap set of wheels from a friend, to complete a fixie project. These wheels were stock on the specializd langster.
The only thig is that I think the rear hub has some dish. Off specialized's website, the rear spoke lengths are 292mm (left side) and 290mm (right side). This means that the wheel has some dish. Correct?
I assume that the wheels are also spaced 120mm.
Here's waht I need to do.
I need to add spacers to the wheels, as these wheels are going on a 126mm old road frame. I understand that I need to add 6mm in total spacers.
-Since the wheel is disched, is there any way to avoid having to re-dish the wheel? Can I just add an unequal amount of spacers to one side and avoid the re-dish all together?

That's odd that a fixed hub has unequal flange spacing...still, you should not have to redish for your 126mm frame. Dishing is done to make plane of rim lie in exact center of plane of hub when the hub flanges are not spaced out equally from hub center...it has nothing at all to do with frame spacing so you should be good to go.
