Threaded framesets?

Any options for me? I'm looking to go to about $300-400, the whole dealio. What are some of the favorites around here? Lugged or non-lugged, whatever is cool. Track geometry, more or less. Thanks :)

Nevermind they don't carry it threaded anymore.

affinitycycles makes two threaded steel frames, one being a regular track frame Metropolitan while other other having a sloping toptube similiar to a pursuit style framee although its a slight bit more expensive.

spicer cycles also has a 1" threaded up for sale as well but in 56.5

Its not the frame thats threaded its the fork. As long as its an 1 inch headtube you can make that threadless fork into a threaded one.
+1 Kilo TT

I've recently seen some of the older Pake frames with a 1" head tube on eBay.

TheRealFaux 04-22-12 02:23 PM

Its really really really hard to tread a threadless fork, but it is really easy to replace a threadless 1" fork with a threaded one. You will have to swap your fork, headset, and stem. If you already have a stem that you really really like, or want to use "oversided" bars there is a product that you can get that allows you to use a threadless stem with a threaded headset. You can get it in 1" or 1 1/8"

How many have you threaded? It's pretty ****ing difficult and a lot of shops won't even do it.

GENESTARWIND 04-22-12 06:24 PM

I emailed spicer earlier about 1" threaded frames. he asked me what size so he could see how long it would take and I think its under 500 weeee
