I tire of ebay links. Put them in the ebay links sticky thread...there's a thought.

pitboss 01-05-05 06:19 PM

I vote for a "Grouchy MKRG" sticky too.
Hi!

skitbraviking 01-05-05 06:24 PM

Frame looks like it has nice geomtry, Parts look crappy or chincy at best.

Seconded.

Hey if you saw the boil sitting on my cheekbone (aka "ingrown hair follicle" or maybe "irritated botfly larva") you'd be grouchy too!

crust & crumb 01-05-05 07:58 PM

MKRG: my deepest sympathies;

i get ingrown facial hair on a semi-regular basis, and often will perform minor-surgery
(implementing a needle and forceps) to free the hair.

MKRG 01-05-05 08:32 PM

can you post an illustrated "how to" guide to end this maddening affliction please?

HereNT 01-05-05 08:42 PM

It's not rocket science - pop the boil with the needle, drain it, then use small tweezers to dig in the hole to grab the hair and pull it out. My dad used to do it all the time (he got them on his arms).

icithecat 01-05-05 08:46 PM

HerNT
Your dad shaved his arms?

HereNT 01-05-05 08:52 PM

No they were just really hairy. He used to say his hair wasn't too smart and didn't know which way to grow...

icithecat 01-05-05 09:11 PM

OK. I thought maybe your dad was a bodybuilder type.

HereNT 01-05-05 09:13 PM

More of the mountain man type. I've seen him without a beard maybe 3 times...

My buddy just won this auction for the mercier complete track bike. I will let you guys know how the bike looks and rides after he gets his hands on it.

jamey 01-06-05 05:03 AM

that would be great because im looking around for a new bike and if it rides well i might consider getting it.

commander_taco 01-06-05 08:46 AM

This looks like a KHS (compare geometry) frame (probably from same factory) with lower end components. Go for it (price is too sweet).

inkdwheels 01-06-05 09:06 AM

I've emailed the lady who runs the auctions, it is a khs complete. If you check out khs's website for the 05 flite 100. It no longer comes with a sugino 75 cranks. it now has truvativ. so the components are the same i guess. good price.
