Personally, I prefer rounding down, because I would rather not use the back part of my handlebars rather than have to stretch to reach the brake levers. That's just a personal preference, though.

I'll be using flat bars, which means I won't be reaching as far as I would if I were getting drop bars or bullhorns. Would this mean I should go for the 120?

I use a longer stem with riser bars than with bullhorns.

After putting some miles on my Panasonic DX-3000 road bike, I'm now leaning towards bullhorn bars instead of risers. I never use the drop section of the bars, but I find myself udon the upper section quite a bit.

Bought the crankset & brakes today. All that's left is the pedals. Just waiting for Scrod to get his straps back in stock.
