Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

It'd help thin out things a little. Probably solve some angst issues round here.

But such a motley crew here.

And really, My wife doesn't let me date.

Not that I can affoard dinner, drinks etc..

I'm probably a cheap ***** anyway, putting out for anyone with long legs, and a story to tell. A little wine and I'm all easy as Phil Woods hub.

So, perhaps dating, not the best of ideas in execution.

No, silly. It was hard to get the syntax correct, you weren't heterosexist, yet were not edited.
( By heterosexist I mean biased towards heterosexuals.)

This word, 'heterosexist,' it doesn't jive with the rest of the 'ist' words. Well, wait-'feminist'- FOR women power, but then 'racist'- AGAINST other races, which I guess would mean FOR your own race. Huh.

I just woke up, perhaps that has lead to my current confusion. Now it's sorta bugging me, I don't remember what I said that was not heterosexist, yet not edited. It's not there anymore (?)

My g/f is about the same size as me, and lets me borrow her fixie as a backup messenger bike. As long as I keep it running smoothly. We are very happy...

Just curious, one of the girls that rides with them always wears cowboy boots, at least when ever I see her.
